The program trains the specialists in the theory of teaching foreign languages and cultures that own interdisciplinary competences in various fields of professional activity, including:
- linguistic education;
- interlanguage communication;
- intercultural communication;
- linguistics.
Graduates know the fundamentals of intercultural communication, teaching foreign languages, language control, theoretical and applied linguistics. Among objects of their professional activity:
- theory and methodology of teaching foreign languages;
- foreign languages and cultures of the studied language;
- theory of intercultural communication;
- translation and translation studies.
By the end of the program you will be able to conduct the following types of professional activities: linguodidactic, translation and interpretation, consulting, information and linguistic, research activities
You can work as a pedagogical specialist (a teacher, an educational counselor, etc.) in educational organizations of various levels and forms.
