The program will provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to organize a modern educational process, create optimal psychological and pedagogical conditions for the education of preschoolers. The program trains teachers of preschool education who are able to carry out and organize developing education in practice in accordance with the principles of amplification and self-worth of age; solve problems of promoting the development of a preschool child; capable of identifying and studying modern problems of preschool childhood and children’s education. The teacher combines the qualification characteristics of a teacher (educator), a teacher – methodologist, a teacher-organizer, as well as a specialist in solving psychological and pedagogical problems arising in the process of implementing a preschool educational program, interaction with all subjects of the educational process (children, parents, specialists, the administration of an educational organization).
By the end of the program you will be able to:
- navigate the current trends of preschool education;
- carry out and organize developing education in practice in accordance with the principles of amplification and self-worth of age;
- solve the tasks of promoting the development of a preschool child;
- Build an individual approach in working with preschoolers;
- identify and study modern problems of preschool childhood and children’s education;
- organize and conduct research work in the field of preschool education.
You can work in state, municipal or private educational organizations that implement basic and additional preschool educational programs; research institutes and laboratories dealing with problems of preschool education. A master’s degree in Psychology in educational psychology also provides access to a doctoral program in psychology both locally and abroad.
