The program is aimed at training specialists who know the basics of psychological support for children and adolescents with somatic diseases. They are able to apply them in practice, including developing new programs and methods of rehabilitation and correction. Work is fully guided by humanistic ideas about working with children who are on long-term treatment and their families.
The program is focused on training specialists who are able to:
- identify and analyze psychological and pedagogical difficulties in children of different ages with somatic diseases;
- develop psychological and pedagogical programs and activities that contribute to the normalization of children’s development in hospital treatment.
The program provides training in methods of psychological rehabilitation of children at different stages of treatment.
Examples of places to work: hospital schools, general education institutions, rehabilitation centers.
