The Master’s Programme provides a broad introduction into the theory and practice of research in the field of development and education with a focus on the cultural-historical psychology and activity approach (L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leont’ev, A.R. Luriya). The programme is run by Moscow State University of Psychology and Education with participation of experts from Australia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

The course provides a strong foundation for:
•Acquiring profound theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cultural-historical psychology and activity approach
•Designing and conducting research in the field of childhood development and education
•Investigating and designing educational process in various contexts (preschool, primary school, secondary school, high school)
•Conducting doctoral, post-doctoral and professional research

The Master’s programme is aimed at future profes-sionals in the field – academics, researchers, educational specialists, teachers, psychologists, who are interested in psychological and pedagogical research of childhood development and education.
