As part of the research conducted at the Institute, state-of-the-art methods of scientific psychological research are used, such as: eye tracking (registration of eye movements during the perception of environmental objects), polygraph, brain-computer interface, polypositional observation, methods of registering psychophysiological indicators etc. These objective instrumental methods are applied both in practice (classical psychological diagnostics, counseling and therapy), as well as within the framework of applied and fundamental scientific research.

Methodology of the work

The ongoing work is mainly based on the cognitive-communicative approach (B.F. Lomov, V.A. Barabanschikov, V.N. Nosulenko). In the course of the work, the following research methods are used: polypositional observation, verbal and communicative methods, psychosemantic methods, methods for registering eye movements and psychophysiological indicators.
