Elena Shpagina started her career in the education system as a teacher and school psychologist. She served in the internal affairs bodies as a practical psychologist, criminal investigation analyst, teacher and head of the department in the system of the higher school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. She has experience in psychological support of the professional activities of employees of the internal affairs bodies, information and analytical support for the disclosure of crimes, including drawing up a psychological portrait of an unknown criminal.
