About
The Department of Management Psychology was established at the Faculty of Social Psychology in 1998. Since 2015, the Department began to develop the problems of the Traffic Psychology, the current direction of modern social psychology.
The main area of scientific interests of the Department is the problems of Organizational Psychology and the Psychology of Modern Management:
- psychology of the management team and organizational leadership;
- social and psychological problems of personnel management in the organization;
- motivational management;
- sociopsychological problems of professional career;
- organizational culture and organizational pathologies;organizational consulting and coaching;
- professional stress and professional burnout;
- competence model of a specialist in the field of organizational psychology and psychology of management.
Science
Scientific work at the Department of Management Psychology suggests the following:
- holding scientific and practical seminars on topical issues of organizational psychology with the involvement of leading experts, as well as graduates of the department;
- research work on the problem of professional competencies of an organizational psychologist and the development of a competency model for a specialist in the field of organizational psychology;
- conducting field trainings on the problems of organizational psychology and psychology of management;
- conducting sociopsychological research commissioned by organizations;
- study of risky road behavior;
- conducting psychological screening of drivers of corporate fleets by order of organizations.
Scientific projects implemented at the Department of Management Psychology:
1. \”Competence-based approach to the training of organizational psychologists in the context of reforming the system of higher professional education\”(2013-2014), within which a competency-based model of an organizational psychologist was developed and its theoretical and experimental substantiation was carried out.
2. \”Sociopsychological problems of managing the educational complex in the context of reforming the education system\”(2015-2016).
3. \”Development of a competency-based model of a specialist as the basis of a professional standard (2017-2019; based on the master\’s programs \”Organizational Psychology\” and \”Psychology of Traffic\”). Within the framework of the project, the model of a specialist in the field of organizational psychology and a specialist in the field of traffic psychology was tested.
4. \”Approbation of methods of primary psychological screening of drivers prone to risky road behavior\” (2019-2021).
